Are you familiar with the work of Eliot Porter? I have a book of his photographs of birds, but he was also an avid naturalist and conservationist. It might be good for you to look at his work for inspiration-- a quick browse through your pictures shows you are already making progress as an artist but I find it always helps me to look at what's gone before.
